Rocks and Rocks and Rocks

Image
These are inspirational rocks I have painted for in coming teachers for Rockdale County.  I enjoyed paintings and I hope I made a teacher’s day.

The Fog

Image
The Fog: I loved doing this piece because I’m widen my ranges of techniques and paints. I want to try doing more black and white paintings and practice with contrast to add depth in the picture. The painting itself is the mountain range with clouds and the background is old newspaper to give a vintage feel to it.

American truth

Image
American truth is my interpretation of America acts throughout history. I believe that America ties to cover up their past to look better in the global public eye and ignore the recent issues of today. I want my piece to help inspire people to look for the truth instead taking someone’s word for it. I used historical and recent events and painted over them the American flag

Desert Paradise

Image
Desert Paradise is one of my favorite pieces this year. The utensils I used were water color and a little  green acrylic for the green strips on the Cactus. I need to improve on letting the paper show through instead of covering everything. Over all, I like this piece.
